Batbayar’s experience in the legal and judicial sectors in Mongolia is extensive and he has practiced law in Mongolia for around 20 years.

He graduated from the Law School of the National University of Mongolia with a Masters of Law degree.

Batbayar also earned a Ph.D. in Law from the Kuban National University in the Russian Federation and is a Vice Professor.

He was the Senior Counsel to “Zuv” law firm and worked as the Head of the National legal and judicial research and training center. He was also a Professor and Department Head of “Tushig” University, and has worked as the Head of the Mongolian Court Decisions Enforcement Authority.

Batbayar also served as an advisor to the Mongolian Parliament, and a Member of the Parliament.

In addition to legal education, Batbayar earned a professional degree in a metallurgical field. Therefore, he has a good understanding of the mining sector and industrial processes.

Batbayar is fluent in Russian and Mongolian.
